This album is like staring into a possessed mirror. You see your reflection, it's somewhat human, but in the background, demons are viciously clawing at your back. Definitely going to make my year end list for 2021.

The album description mentions an “emotional apex.” That’s really the difference between Stare and the band’s previous albums. Ulcerate was always supremely technically proficient. I just didn’t care all that much. Their growth has come from making music you will feel.
