Spot betreedt steevast het hart; zwemt gedreven in de bloedbaan.
“Ja, goed. Z’n gangetje.” Dat zeg je dan. Dat is normaal.
“Binnenkort komt het er van.” Ik - onkundig monomaan.
Scherpte sijpelt door de spleten. Houd wat binnen, vooralsnog.
“I’m a blanket, baby.”
Binnenkort verzet ik bergen, dan komt alles er alsnog.
En dan denk ik bij mezelf: “Gaat het wel goed? Ga je wel helemaal lekker jongen? Je doet een beetje zus, je doet een beetje zo.
Kloot wat hier, kloot wat daar. En hup, twee, drie: leven. Leven, leven, leven. Maar is 't ook wat? Dat leven? Weten de mensen wel hoeveel je van ze houdt? Terwijl alles galmt? En terwijl alles suist?”
Weet je, vandaag zag ik hoe de grond begon te beven -
en het volgt me helemaal naar huis.
“Geluk of rampspoed wil ik wagen”, is wat destijds tot mij trad.
Hoog tijd om dat weer uit de kast te halen. Af te stoffen. Te bekijken.
Man, ik had allang in bed gelegen, als mijn fiets niet was gejat!
“Ja, goed. Z’n gangetje.” Dat zeg je dan. Dat is normaal.

thanks Fluisteraars! I just love your music. A very good atmosphérique black metal band with experimental/ ambient passage. This album is literally one of my classics in my black metal journey. The first time I heard this record, I feel scared and no other album make me feel that. Just, I feel like it's probably my favourite black metal album of all time. Continue in that way !

PSA: if there was an album you heard a couple years ago and thought it was ok, listen to it again and you might love it. That's what happened to me with this album. I cannot fathom why it didn't stick with me back then. Same thing happened with Decoherence's Unitarity for that matter.
